This is a collection of resources brought together by the UK Government to help raise standards in education and to support lifelong learning.  The site provides music discussion areas for sharing ideas, ICT links, CD-Rom reviews and further suggestions.

Virtual Teachers Centre

The music subject area of the Virtual Teachers Centre.

Information includes:

• Subject resources: links to web sites that have been approved by subject specialists as having useful curriculum content.
• The curriculum: direct links to the National Curriculum documents, schemes of work and frameworks for teaching music.
• Tests and exams: links to the online examination syllabuses for music and links to revision materials.

Sibelius Software

Site includes a new forum for teachers and students who use Sibelius to discuss educational applications for the software, midi resources and articles on various aspects of music.
