MMF Instrument Hire

Merton Music Foundation has a large stock of musical instruments available for hire.

Requests for hire instruments for lessons in schools should be made through your child’s school.

Subject to availability, we also provide instruments on external hire.

A deposit is required on all instruments, the hire period is normally limited to three terms and all hire is provided subject to availability.

Hire charges are payable termly.

Charges for MMF students:

GROUP 1 INSTRUMENTS: £32.00 (Deposit - £10.00)
Violin, Viola, Guitar
GROUP 2 INSTRUMENTS: £38.00 (Deposit - £20.00)
Cello, Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Cornet, Trombone, Tenor Horn, Baritone
GROUP 3 INSTRUMENTS: £45.00 (Deposit - £30.00)
Double Bass, Oboe, Bassoon, Saxophone, French Horn, Euphonium, Tuba

External hire - prices available separately from MMF.

All replacement strings, reeds, oils and grease for hire instruments must be paid for by the hirer.
